The Whites with their good buddy Pat Fitzgerald

Carter sleeps through his big meeting and isn't able to procure a scholarship offer from Coach Fitz just yet. Go Cats!

A Gallery of One Month Pictures

It's naptime here at the White household, which gives me a brief opportunity to catch up on the 37,154 tasks on my to-do list. And since I've been promising a gallery of our favorite shots from month one of Carter's life, here it is! Or at least, the link. Some of them from Carter's birth day have already been posted, so keep on scrolling through the slideshow to see new photos.

The photo included in this post was taken yesterday during the 20 blissful daytime minutes Carter conked out. (Not enough "downtime" for Mommy!) It'll probably be the last time he wears that onesie, because he looks too much like a college student. Only significantly more "babyish" clothes from here on out. He has the rest of his life to dress like a little rugby player.

Kathleen's First Mother's Day!

For Mother's Day, Dax and Carter took Kathleen to Church and then made brunch and dined on the back patio because it was such a beautiful day. Here are some of the pictures. Happy Mother's Day to all the important Mothers in our lives.

Hello, World, I'm One Month Old Today!

More pictures coming soon, we promise! This "tummy time" picture was taken today, on Carter's one month milestone. Our son grows more inquisitive and energetic everyday. We may have to enter him into an ESPN competitive eating contest soon - Carter is insatiable.

At one month, he's already been to Wrigley Field for his first Cubs game, taken in mass at his parish of St. Alphonsus, explored Roscoe Village's tree-lined streets in his BOB ride, sampled a suckle of Ommegang from his Daddy's finger at the Village Tap beer garden and shared countless cuddles with his smitten parents.

We can't wait for all the joys of month two!
