After a wintry weekend celebration with Kathleen's parents in Chicago, we traveled south (way south!) to Hopetown in the Bahamas with the Carters and extended Carrington clan for Christmas week. The island where we stayed (Elbow Cay) is where Dax's Grandpa Ken and Grandma Priscilla spent many happy years residing in the "Conch Shell."
